Who is C C Skye?

C C Skye is a young talented designer based in Los Angeles.  She started with a jewelry line in 2004 and while working with jewelry and gold metal, she added leather to her jewelry designs.  From there she began creating handbags to compliment her gold hardware.  C C's bag line debuted in 2006.  The C C Skye bag... elegant, yet hip and a bit edgy, features sumptuous Italian leather.  Posh Purse is thrilled to be showcasing - Fall 2010 - some of these "jaw dropping" bags from C C Skye! Just back from a wonderful vacation at the beach...great weather, so relaxing.  I can kick back in Pawley's Island for a week and come back to Posh Purse totally refreshed. "Miss Gustto" - the new "Vegan" Bag

One of our favorite designers, Agathe Planchon has created a fabulous new line of "vegan" bags.  She calls this collection Miss Gustto!  We discovered such wonderful, chic styles in this new Miss Gustto line.   All the bags in the Miss Gustto group are non-leather, hence "vegan".  Superb attention to detail and a fabulous price point add to their appeal.   So, along with Agathe's Gustto line of fine Italian leather bags, we will also be offering a select few "vegan" bags.   Check back...Miss Gustto arriving any day!

Summer! It's here!!

I've always been a "Summer" person.  Longer daylight hours, summer outdoor activities, the beach, planting flowers, not wearing a coat, flip-flops - just to mention a few reasons I love summer.  Did I mention school is out!  Now I haven't attended "school" in many years, but one never forgets that "isn't life great feeling?" when the school year ends and summer begins.  So if you've noticed I've been a bit lax in my blog writing, well...SCHOOL IS OUT and I needed a little summertime!!! Just Another Gustto Fan!

Everyone is just wild about Agathe Planchon's Gustto bags and the Malia bag is definitely being seen.  If you'll indulge me in dropping a name now and then... AnnaLynne McCord 90210 star was spotted out and about in Los Angeles this weekend with a gorgeous Malia bag in-hand.  An avid fan, AnnaLynne has been spotted on numerous occasions carrying Gustto.

A Real Show Stopper

The Mother-Daughter Fashion Show at Ursuline Academy was a great success.  My daughter graduated from UA so PoshPurse was happy to support the fashion show.  Our donation was a gorgeous hot pink bag, that went amazingly well with the whole theme of the show.   Rumor has it - the hot pink Badgley Mischka bag was a definite show stopper!  Best Wishes to all the young women of UA!

Bags Make Great Gifts!

I find it quite interesting that more men are beginning to order handbaqs...I should clarify this. The handbags are gifts for their wives and I must say the men have excellent taste. Keep this thought in mind, since Mother's Day is right around the corner. But if your man doesn't have a clue...not to worry. Let us know which bag you prefer and we'll be happy to send him an email with a little hint.

Most likely, there are some basics you always carry in your bag. Then depending on your career, interests, single, not single, raising toddlers or teens, just starting your college years, or retired - much can be learned from checking out all the goodies in your bag. What bag are you carrying?

Actually, a few weeks ago, I switched back to my Kale-Chilton.  I  love the washed goat leather...it looks and feels so luxurious.  The bag is versatile and comfortable to carry.  I find the double wide straps particularly nice as they conform to my shoulder.  The center zipper closure is perfect for keeping my checkbook, credit cards, cash...anything of value.  Every time I open my bag, I see that gorgeous fucshia lining ...it just makes me happy! Spring into 2010 with Gustto's Rosa Clutch

Have you seen Gustto's Rosa Clutch in suede?  I'm thinking fabulous!  The size is perfect - 16" width, has a convenient round metal cut-out handle, folds to a clutch, plus the colors...... Did I mention colors?  Gustto created the Rosa Clutch in all our favorite colors: vibrant - Fuchsia, bursting into Spring -Turquoise,  just a bit of color - Light Blue, and of course - Black. Goodbye to "2009"

So, another year is winding down...will you be celebrating quietly with your significant other?  Or will you be rockin the night away - waiting for the ball to drop - on Times Square?  I'm thinking Times Square might be a bit over the top. Me?......Oh!  I'll be with my husband  at Gwyn's New Year's Eve Bash.  It's kind of an unwritten rule...."If you're not at Gwyn's NYE Party...you best be on your death bed."   Then there's the little matter that comes up when you attempt to say "Goodbye" "Another fab party" "Thanks for everything".........yes, she actually blocks the door.  All I can say is "THANK GOD" Gwyn's New Year's Eve Parties are a BLAST!
