One Bag - Two Looks

Don't you just love a bag that's versatile? Sophisticated with a bit of an edge? Elegant yet cool? A bag that flows easily from work attire to your favorite pair of jeans...that you know you look good in! Whatever you are wearing, an important piece that can pull your outfit together is your handbag. Albeit a day at work, enjoying a fabulous dinner at your favorite restaurant, or just hanging with friends at your local pub...a gorgeous bag is a must have accessory. Treesje Design Duo - Laura Darrah and Sheila Nazarian

Creators of the Treesje (pronounced tres shuh) handbag line, design duo Laura Darrah and Sheila Nazarian are committed to creating original pieces.  Their bags are both elegant and functional, yet have a certain edgy quality that appeals to the younger more contemporary woman.  The Jaden clutch is a perfect example of how Darrah and Nazarian combine elegance with the "edgy look". Darrah and Nazarian's passion for art and their attention to fine details is displayed in the Treesje collection.  The unique hardware is custom designed by the duo.  They travel the world for their inspiration in designing their handbags and choosing the finest leathers. Laura and Sheila enjoy a great celebrity fan base.  Fergie, Eva Longoria, Heidi Klum, Courteney Cox, and Katherine Heigl are just a few of the celebrities seen wearing Treesje.   Girls on the CW's "The Vampire Diaries" have been spotted carrying Treesje bags.  If you're a fan of "Gossip Girl",  you may have noticed that Treesje has been featured this season. Darrah and Nazarian are two extremely interesting and talented designers to follow.  They introduce brand new collections every season and revamp some of their classic styles with different leathers and hardware.    It will be exciting to see how the creative duo plans to expand the Treesje collection in the years to come.

Spring into 2010 with Gustto's Rosa Clutch

Have you seen Gustto's Rosa Clutch in suede?  I'm thinking fabulous!  The size is perfect - 16" width, has a convenient round metal cut-out handle, folds to a clutch, plus the colors...... Did I mention colors?  Gustto created the Rosa Clutch in all our favorite colors: vibrant - Fuchsia, bursting into Spring -Turquoise,  just a bit of color - Light Blue, and of course - Black. Once again, Agathe Planchon has succeeded in designing the versatile - tres chic bag for Spring! FYI - Gustto is featured in People Style Watch 2/2010 Issue. Donna

Goodbye to "2009"

So, another year is winding down...will you be celebrating quietly with your significant other?  Or will you be rockin the night away - waiting for the ball to drop - on Times Square?  I'm thinking Times Square might be a bit over the top. Me?......Oh!  I'll be with my husband  at Gwyn's New Year's Eve Bash.  It's kind of an unwritten rule...."If you're not at Gwyn's NYE Party...you best be on your death bed."   Then there's the little matter that comes up when you attempt to say "Goodbye" "Another fab party" "Thanks for everything".........yes, she actually blocks the door.  All I can say is "THANK GOD" Gwyn's New Year's Eve Parties are a BLAST! Holiday Crunch Time

It's down to crunch time for all the holiday hoopla! The Holidays

So...how's everyone this holiday season?  I must admit I was feeling like a bit of a Scrooge for a couple of days but I'm back to my jolly ole self.   So much to do this time of year and I just want to enjoy it all! Some little elves are planning to help hang the garland on the stairs and hopefully a bigger elf will steady the ladder while I finish decorating the tree.  Teamwork...it always makes holiday decorating more enjoyable. Thanksgiving 2009

Well, Thanksgiving is over once again.   So blessed that my whole family could be together. Turkey Dinner was quite tasty (actually one of my best turkeys ever). We laughed, enjoyed good conversation, and ended the evening watching "Christmas Vacation"...so we laughed some more. LOL Donna

Holidays...

It's such a gorgeous Fall day!  Leaves covering the ground, a few still hanging on the trees...colors are just amazing!   So...enough day dreaming, need to get back to work. Trying to finalize some ads for the holidays...then holidays remind me of Thanksgiving and suddenly I'm pondering over my Thanksgiving dinner menu. OK...brain needs a break.  Later, Donna

Gustto - Sophisticated but Cool

Owner and president of the Gustto brand - Agathe Planchard says,"The Gustto bag is for the woman who is sophisticated but cool at the same time."   I say, " Now who doesn't want to fit into that category?" For instance, the Malia bag is roomy and designed to hold all your handbag goodies...and the croco print leather, the hardware, the luxurious look and feel...so sophisticated...and yet... SO COOL! Malia or Gola

Gustto's new Tribal Collection featured front and center on the PoshPurse home page.   We have the Malia, and then... there is the Gola.  Two fabulous looking bags. Gwyn is definitely a fan of the Malia.  Me?.....it's so hard to choose, but there is something about the Gola..... We'd love to hear from you.  Which bag is your favorite?  The Malia or the Gola? Who's carrying Gustto now?

While running errands in LA, teen superstar Miley Cyrus was spotted carrying her new Gustto bag. The Malia bag in a croco print leather is part of Gustto's Tribal Collection and it's definitely one of our favorite bags.  The two front pockets are great and their magnetic closures are such a plus...especially when your hands are full, they're so easy to open and close.  The Malia is a PoshPurse favorite!

Purse Hanger featured on CincyChic.Com

As you know, our personalized purse hanger is included FREE with each bag purchased from PoshPurse.    We donated some of our purse hangers to be included in the gift bags for the "12 Days of Seasonably Chic" gala.  Final day is today with a Fashion Show/Brunch held at the Phoenix.  Thanks to Amy at CincyChic for featuring our purse hanger in a fun/interesting video posted on her blog at CincyChic.Com.  It's a gorgeous day...so have a great one! Event at Collin's & Co.

A fabulous day at Collin's & Co....hope we didn't disrupt the salon too much.  A little wine and cheese along with our PoshPurse handbags... displayed so all the ladies could view them up close and personal.  Lots of ooohhs and aaahhs!!  Oh! And Congrats to Cathy St. John - lucky winner of the Badgley Mischka bag.
